Arpan is a registered organisation based in Mumbai with a mission to prevent the occurrence of Child Sexual Abuse and heal those who have been affected by it. Arpan’s interventions are undertaken by: 1) PREVENTION – Empowering adults & children with skills to protect children from sexual abuse and 2) HEALING – Enabling victims & survivors of abuse to heal and live beyond the trauma of their abuse.
Environmental Sanitation Institute
The Environmental Sanitation Institute (ESI) is a training facility for environmental and sanitation awareness. It guides rural areas in the best methods to maintain sanitary conditions while also focusing on drainage facilities that cater to the cultures of the various communities. ESI inspired the idea of Manav Sadhna.
Gramshree
Gramshree serves and works closely with the underprivileged communities in Ahmedabad, India. Their mission is to enable women to be catalysts of sustainable economical and social change in order to strengthen their families and positively impact their communities.
IndiCorps
Indicorps’ development-oriented programs are designed to build principled leadership, empower visionaries, inspire collective action, and unite India towards a common vision while creating opportunities for Indians and the Indian diaspora to serve India by applying their skills, time, and resources towards grassroots projects and sustainable strategies for change.
InSPIRE
InSPIRE is a non-partisan, non-religious 5-week long immersion program that reconnects young Indians and South Asians from abroad to India.
It’s an opportunity to discover what they are passionate about…to re-evaluate their aspirations as they explore and challenge their assumptions about themselves and about their relationship with the world around us.
Manav Sadhna
Manav Sadhna is an NGO based at Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. Inspired by the Gandhian principles of truth, non-violence, uplifting the poor and oppressed, promoting health and sanitation, and to educate the poor masses, Manav Sadhna has begun a movement to adapt these ideals to the current and complex issues facing not only India, but the world. Manav Sadhna wishes to plant the seeds of hope and inspiration among all people, especially those children who have been neglected by society.
