Past Learning Journey
The next Learning Journey will be held in 2012.
Taking place every summer in India, our Learning Journey invites you to take a deeper look at these questions and explore the answers yourself.
India is once again in the limelight of the global stage. Culturally diverse and complex, India is now a major industrial power experiencing rapid urban growth.
It is a nation undergoing significant political, economic, and social change, while at the same time struggling to maintain many of its traditions and customs.
Learning Journey is an opportunity to inspire a greater awareness of a rapidly evolving India. It enables participants to engage with those who are creating a modern India, giving them the opportunity to broaden their horizons and understand more about themselves in the process.
You will meet inspirational people who have committed themselves entirely towards engineering change in India. The activities range from NGO workshops to village stays, from slum visits to talks and reflections. Issues explored previously include microfinance, women’s empowerment, education, social enterprise, community development, humanity, human rights and many more! You will be able to forge new friendships and meet like-minded people who have a desire to LEARN and a desire to bring about CHANGE.
